The Production:
Our productions are original scripts written by the director. The rights to produce our scripts can be purchased. If your school, program, or theater is interested in putting on a Haven Gray production, please contact us.

The 2026 program will be our first musical, “The Dead Don’t Sing: Pirate Musical,” with original scores by Joanna Willistein. Show Description:
The dead don’t sing. The sea is cursed. And anyone who sails too far from the coast never returns. This is the world in which Amaryllis Morwood lives. And yet, Amaryllis dreams of what might be on the other side of the sea. Her dreams seem ludicrous until the day a captain appears who claims to be able to sail folks across the cursed sea. Can anything be done when the locals talk of hanging this captain?  Join us for an adventurous pirate musical, filled with original scores, ghosts, and murder.

Auditions:
Auditions are open to actors/actresses of any age on Tuesday, November 18 from 5 – 7pm.

Location:
65 Big Tree Street
Livonia, NY 14487

The theater room is upstairs. Parking is limited, but more parking is available around the corner in the public parking lot behind Community Bank located on Commercial Street.

Fundraising:
There are many expenses (supplies, costumes, props, backdrops, printing, etc.) that come with putting on a show. However, we do not charge for this program and the donations we receive at our shows are not enough to cover our expenses for this program. Therefore, to help offset these costs, we are offering a fundraising opportunity with prizes for the top three students who help raise the most support for their show.

Volunteers:
We are always looking for volunteers to help make and/or paint sets, organize props, help backstage, fill in for sound/light technicians if no one registers for those areas, and help clean.

Dress Code:
Due to the athletic nature of acting, actors and actresses should wear clothes that allow for full range of motion and coverage. Please wear shirts that are long enough to either remain tucked in or cover stomach completely, even when raising arms in theatrical movements and active games. Please wear shirts that have a tight enough neckline that will allow you to bend over without exposing your chest. Please wear shorts or pants that will completely cover all underwear and will allow you to move around without exposing any part of your underwear. Actresses, if you are wearing a dress or skirt, please wear leggings or shorts underneath.

*Leggings or biker shorts and tight tanks or t-shirts will be needed to be worn under costumes for practices and shows. The color is to be determined by costume.

Registration Directions once you are selected for a part:
At this time, we can only need 15 students for this program. All forms are due with registration. In order for your registration to be accepted, fill out the registration form, and you must agree to the conduct agreementliability waiver, and dress code.
